owner demonstrated that this saw works very well. Motor runs strong and the bearings are so smooth that the blade will continue to spin long after the power gets turned off. This machine is from the 1960s. So please expect some squeaks when the column gets adjusted up and down. Some WD40 will most likely help that out***
***Currently the motor is wired for 220V and has a 220v plug end. The previous owner spliced in a 115V cord. He advises that if you wish to use it at 115v to properly rewire it for 115V. His splicing was a quick fix that he used one time on a job site. Other than that he has strictly used it as 220V. The 115 wires will be capped and taped off for shipping. This item has been recently used by a local Part time contractor that has retired. Please expect some minor scratches, residue from use, oxidation, other cosmetic imperfections and normal wear and tear from everyday use.
