Vintage 1916 Frank Holton Chicago Special Trombone

Description

This vintage Holton Chicago Special (serial # 32833) was played in a World War I military band.  It is an un-refurbished silver colored trombone with a 7” bell adorned with a gold filigree flower inset.  It is in its original case and shows the wear of a frequently-used and transported military instrument.  Played by the owner’s grandfather, this trombone, considered to be the most perfect trombone manufactured, has been in the family for a century.  It is a collector’s item.
Unmolested & unrestored.
