1794 S.54 Liberty Cap Large cent, NGC AU53 BN.  A lovely cent with dark chocolate color and surfaces that are fundamentally smooth and trouble free.  A little bit of rim bumping right of the date is really the only - very minor - issue.  A high grade, smooth, pretty cent of 1794 like this one is truly something to appreciate, and this isn't one of the most common Sheldon varieties, especially in higher grades.    An extraordinarily pleasing coin that belongs in an important collection.
